EMPOWER Workshop: Data Ethics & Evaluation



EMPOWER is pleased to announce it will be hosting its next workshop at Canvas Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain on Monday 10th July.

The workshop will be EMPOWER’s fourth in an ongoing series of workshops, and will be focused on ethics of new generation data and evaluation of vulnerable groups.

This workshop aims to provide participants with an improved understanding and skills in:
– recognising and mitigating ethical issues concerning the use of individuals’ location based data and other sensitive primary data
– expand participants understanding and skills in identifying and evaluating vulnerable groups in data
– provide a clear and well developed plan on how to demonstrate the EMPOWER KPI concerning vulnerable groups.

The workshop is intended for EMPOWER TUCs, EMPOWER Living Lab stakeholders, TUC subcontractors, Follower Cities/Organisations, Lighthouse projects & CIVITAS members.
